Savannah Symposium - "Doing Sustainable Business in the Bush"
The Savannah Symposium is a meeting of Northern Australian leaders, service providers and visionaries exploring “Doing Sustainable Business in the Bush”.
The inaugural Savannah Symposium was held in Darwin on 17-21 November 2009 as a joint initiative of Savannah Way Ltd, The CRC for Tropical Savannas and Savannah Guides. It focused on three streams:
- Sustainable Communities
- Conservation Business
- EcoTourism
Over 100 delegates from diverse organizations, businesses and government agencies shared ideas and built new cooperative relationships that continue to contribute to sustainable development in Northern Australia.
The next Savannah Symposium will be held in 2011. Details will be available on this webpage.
